James L. Meinert, President
James L. Meinert, president of Meinert Market Services, has gained extensive, first-hand
experience in world trade through his position as director of international marketing for
Snider Mold Company in Mequon, Wisconsin, U.S.A., a builder of large molds for the global
plastics industry. Meinert Market Services' clients will benefit from Jim's experience
exporting molds directly, through international trade shows and associations, and through
distribution channels he has established in Mexico, South America, China, Europe and Asia.
Clients also will benefit from Jim's experience with the U.S. Department of Commerce, with

- Jim has been associated with Snider Mold Co. Mequon, WI since 1965, starting out in
engineering, then president, and eventually majority owner. Recently Jim sold his interests
in the company and continues to serve on the board of directors.
- Jim has led Snider Mold's diversification into the global arena, starting in 1968 by
building the stadium seating molds for the Olympics in Mexico City. Jim believes the
economic success of small business must include a respectable portion of international
business. Snider Mold has been successful in Mexico, China, Brazil, and South Africa,
reaching 50% in exports in 1998.
- Jim has been recognized for his efforts by the Small Business Administration in 1993,
and in 1998 the Milwaukee World Trade Association gave Jim their prestigious Harry C.
Brockel award. Jim has served the MWT A as director and president. The Society of the
Plastics Industry awarded Jim the 1998 International Businessman award, where Jim serves
on the Global Business Council, and the MoldMakers policy board. Jim has also entered
the Plastics Pioneers Association, and was the Society of Plastics Engineers MoldMaker
of the year in 1993, where he is a Senior member.
- Jim has served on the American Mold Builders board of directors and as President, plus
has served several area technical schools as an advisor to their tooling and international
programs. Jim is often a guest speaker at local Universities international marketing
classes.
- In addition Jim has been the leader or co-leader of many trade missions
to see first hand the opportunities and challenges in Mexico, China, and Asia, sponsored
by SPI, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Milwaukee World Trade Association.
- Jim continues to be active with some international consulting projects in the plastics
and tooling industries, assisting smaller companies in the global arena.

Henry Loong, owner of JLM Technolgies Pte, Ltd, began his career in
the 1970s, performing an apprenticeship for a German company making precision molds
for the camera parts. He furthered his training in the UK working with large molds
for the bottle crate, TV casings and automobile parts. In the early 1980s, Henry
started his own mold-making business, exporting to many European countries, including
the UK, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Denmark, as well as to North America and South
America, including Mexico and Brazil.
- Henry currently works in Mainland China, assisting in the sourcing
of mold between Europe and the Far East.
- Henry has thirty-three years of experience in mold design,
tool room processes, plastic resin processing, and troubleshooting of molds.
- A great understanding of the global market, including the
cultures of the countries involved, has helped Henry to build and sustain his
business into 2006.
